A real person reads every message. Tuckaway is made by Handler Labs LLC, a small team, so please include your iOS version and what you were doing when something went wrong and we can usually sort it out in one reply.

Does Tuckaway connect to my bank?
No, and it never will. Tuckaway has no bank linking, no aggregator, and no account to create. You enter your own figures, which is why your data can stay on your device.
How do I move my budget over from another app?
Export a CSV from your old app and import it in Tuckaway under Settings, then Import. Your categories become envelopes and your history comes with you. CSV import is free. You can preview how a file will map using the free import helper on this site before you import it.
How do I get my data out?
Settings, then Export. You get a full CSV of everything, any time, on the free plan. Nothing is held back if you stop paying, and nothing is locked to us.
I bought Premium but it is not showing up
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. If it still does not appear, email us and include the date of purchase.
How do I cancel a subscription or ask for a refund?
Apple handles all purchases, so subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account in Settings or the App Store, not through us. Refunds are requested from and issued by Apple under Apple's policies. We cannot cancel a subscription or issue a refund on your behalf, but we are happy to help you find the right screen.
How does sharing a budget with a partner work?
Partner sync is a Premium feature and it runs through your own iCloud. There is no Tuckaway server and no account in the middle. Both people need to be signed in to iCloud and have the shared budget enabled.
How many receipt scans do I get?
Three free scans, then receipt scanning is part of Premium. Scanning happens entirely on your device; the image is never uploaded.
Does Tuckaway work without an internet connection?
Yes. The app is fully offline. A connection is only needed if you choose to sync through your own iCloud or to make a purchase.
My widget or Siri shortcut is not updating
Open the app once so it can refresh the shared data, then remove and re-add the widget. If a Siri shortcut stops matching, re-record the phrase in the Shortcuts app. If that does not fix it, email us with your iOS version.
How do I delete everything?
Deleting the app removes the on-device data. If you turned on iCloud sync, also turn it off in Settings first, or remove Tuckaway data from your iCloud account, so a reinstall does not restore it.
